Competition Schedule

Saturday, starts at 9:00 a.m.

9.00. Competition No. 1 – Competition with evaluation. Conduction tasks for children with I and II group ponies/horses (walking, trotting). For riders who have not participated in show jumping competitions in 2018/2019, and first season ponies/horses.

 

Competitions 1 and 2 will take place at the same time!

 

9.00. Competition No. 2 – Obstacles height 60 cm. Ideal time – 300 m/min.

For I and II group pony riders.

TOURNAMENT RANKING COURSE for riders up to 16 years old with I and II group ponies

 

Competitions with a time norm, which is called “ideal time”. Penalty points for failure to achieve the “ideal time” are not awarded. If the “ideal time” is exceeded, then one penalty point is awarded for each four seconds that have begun. Other errors are evaluated according to table A.

The best result will have the athlete whose result – penalty points, the difference between the made time and the “ideal time” – is the smallest. If penalty points and the difference are the same, the best result is for a participant who has not exceeded the ideal time. Other athletes are ranked by penalty points and the time difference between the made time and the “ideal time”.

Competition No. 3 Obstacles height up to 40 cm. Ideal time – 300 m/min.

For riders up to 10 years old (year of birth 2009 or later) with I and II group ponies.

 

Competition No. 4 – Obstacles height 80 cm, speed competition (Art. 238.2.1.), no restrictions. (Prize fund EUR 235: 60, 50, 40, 30, 30, 25)

 

Competition No. 5 – Obstacles height 100 cm, speed competition (Art. 238.2.1.), no restrictions.

Competition No. 6 – Obstacles height 110 cm, speed competition (Art. 238.2.1.), no restrictions.

(Prize fund EUR 315: 100, 70, 50, 40, 30, 25)

 

Competition No. 7 – Obstacles height 120 cm. Accumulation competition with Joker (Art. 269.5), no restrictions.

Competition No. 8 – Obstacles height 100 cm, 2 phases (Art. 274.2.5.),

8A – for riders up to 16 years old, TOURNAMENT RANKING COURSE.

(Prize fund EUR 300: 90, 65, 50, 40, 30, 25)

 

8B – for rider with horses up to 5 years old, TOURNAMENT RANKING COURSE.

(Prize fund EUR 300: 90, 65, 50, 40, 30, 25)

 

8C – no restrictions (ranking course for amateurs).

Competition No. 9 – Obstacles height 110 cm, speed competition (Art. 238.2.1.), no restrictions.  (Prize fund 345 EUR: 110, 80, 60, 40, 30, 25)

 

Competition No. 10 – Obstacles height 120 cm, competition in two phases (Art. 274.2.5.), no restrictions. TOURNAMENT RANKING COURSE for riders up to 25 years old.

Competition No. 11 – Obstacles height up to 130 cm (Art. 238.2.2), no restrictions. TOURNAMENT RANKING COURSE for “The best rider 2019”.

(Prize fund EUR 640: 200, 150, 100, 80, 60, 50)

 

Competition No. 12 – Obstacles height 60 cm, in 2 phases (Art.  274.1.5.3.), no restrictions.

 

 

Award ceremony

The participants should only appear at the award ceremony with ponies/horses. In special cases, the Chief Jury, in consultation with the Organising Committee, may authorize a participant to appear at the award ceremony without a horse.

In competition No. 1 all participants receive rosettes, diplomas and presents upon completion of the course.

In competition No. 2. 3. and No. 12, 1st-6th place winners receive diplomas, rosettes, and prizes from competition sponsors.

In competition No. 4 to No. 11 1.-6. 1st-6th place winners receive diplomas, rosettes, and prizes from competition sponsors and money prizes, 7th-10th place winners receive gift cards from the organisers.

The athletes should collect money prizes and other prizes before the end of the each round of the tournament.

 

Applications

 

Arrival to the competition venue: from 12:00 Friday, 24 of May.

Applications should be submitted by Thursday, 23 May, 20:00 by filling in an application form via Equipe Entry system entry.equipe.com. Application will not be submitted without filling all necessary parts!

In competitions No. 2 and No. 3 applications with horses out of competition will not be accepted.

If a rider participates in tournament courses with several horses, the points will be awarded to the rider with the horse, which he claims to be the first before the start. The rider can participate with one horse in one competition, competing for the title of the best rider of the relevant competition in the tournament. In case of equality of points, the result of the ranking course of the final stage will be the decisive factor.

In case of change of the rider in the young horse courses in the three rounds, each time points will be awarded to the young horse with the relevant rider, and these points are not cumulative.

Imported ponies require a horse passport with a pony size with a certified signature.

 

Starting order will be published on the website on the website online.equipe.com and Equipe App.

 

Entry fee: for course No.1: 15,- EUR,  for courses 2. 3. and 12.: 25,- EUR, for courses 4. – 9.: 30,- EUR, for courses 10. un 11.: 35,- EUR

 

Box rent: EUR 25.- (for competitions: 24 to 26 May) – 1 pack of shavings in the box.

Also available:

Shavings – EUR 8.00 per sack;

Hay – EUR 8.00 per bundle; EUR 40.00 per roll;

Electrical connection for trailer: 20 EUR per competitions.

 

If applied until 21 May and paid to the YRS account: 1 start in course No.1: 15,- EUR,  for courses 2. 3. and 12.: 20,- EUR, for courses 4. – 9.: 25,- EUR, for courses 10. un 11.: 30,- EUR. If payment is made to the YRS account, a payment order should be produced at the competition venue!

The participants take personal responsibility for possible incidents during the competitions. Participants up to 16 years old must have protective vests. The ARS Emergency Medical Service and a veterinarian will be on duty during the competition.

Competitors must comply with the LEF Latvia veterinary requirements (http://www.leflatvia.lv/web/?id=419196). Valid horse passports must be presented with all necessary veterinary records and vaccinations of horses (INAN examinations and vaccination of equine influenza), passports will be checked! If a horse passport is not presented, or any mandatory vaccination is missing, the horse will not be admitted to the competition, and the entry fee will not be refunded!

By participating in the competition, you agree that the event will be filmed and photographed. The images resulting from the photography/video filming may be broadcast, published and distributed.

 

Any situations that have not been mentioned in the Rules will be resolved by the Judges and the Organiser.

 

 

Athletes collect points in the following 5 competitions of 3 rounds of the tournament:

riders with I and II group ponies;

riders up to16 years old;

riders with horses up to 5 years old;

riders up to 25 years old;

best YRS rider 2018.

 

 

The title of the best rider in each competition will be awarded by summing up points at 3 rounds of the tournaments.

1st tournament round – 25-26 May

2nd tournament round – 12-14 July

3rd tournament round, final – 7-8 September

 

First three place winners in the final in ponies ranking receive presents, the first place winner receives a trip, First three place winners in other competitions receive presents and money prizes. Scheme of tournament points awarding: 1st place – 20 points; 2nd place – 18; 3rd place -16; 4th place -14; 5th place – 12; 6th place – 10; 7th place – 8; 8th place – 6; 9th place – 4; 10th place – 3; 11th place – 2; 12th place – 1.
